Description
As the first point of contact for guests at the ski area, your role is crucial. You will need to be approachable, professional, and always ready to assist. This includes answering any questions guests may have and directing them to the appropriate areas for rentals, lift tickets, ski lessons, and more. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a friendly demeanor, even during busy periods, will be key to ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Be able to set up the parking lot’s walkways and parking pylons properly individually or with coworkers.
- Must have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
- Conduct ingoing and outgoing traffic promptly and professionally in both parking lots.
- Must keep traffic flowing smoothly and quickly, especially in the morning and afternoon.
- Must be willing to stand outside for 8+ hours daily in all weather conditions.
- Create and keep up open communication with guests and coworkers.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to help other departments within Red River Ski Area.
- The ability to perform strenuous physical activities throughout the day is critical to this position.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively during stressful or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Must be dependable and punctual with daily scheduling.
- Demonstrate good guest and employee relations.
- Keep a neat appearance, keep your uniform clean, and have good personal hygiene.
Work Environment
- Working outdoors in carried weather conditions (rain, snow, sleet, heavy winds, sunshine, etc.).
- Employees regularly work near moving vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Employees should expect to work holidays and weekends.
- No experience is necessary. Training is provided.
- Must be at least 14 with a valid working permit.
