2017/18 Winter Food and Beverage Supervisor

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for managing the Main Chalet Food Court at the Red River Ski & Summer Area for the 2017/2018 winter season. Cafeteria is open daily serving breakfast and lunch. Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the guest experience at the Main Chalet Cafeteria.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for daily operations following proper policies, and procedures.

Responsible for checking that all areas of the deck, grill, restaurant, kitchen and storage area are clean and all items are stocked and well maintained.

Responsible for making sure all coolers that have food items are properly labeled and dated.

Responsible for checking out of keys and cash to open and close the facility daily.

Responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing before closing of shift:
Ensures the safety and security of guests and staff
Enforces health department rules and policies

Directs the work of staff members performing the following functions of
cooking cleaning, stocking, quality control, beverage control during daily operation

Abides by laws, policies, and procedures pertaining to the service and sale of alcoholic
beverages.

Promptly and professionally handles guest concerns/complaints and communicates problems and concerns
to Department Director

Supervisory responsibilities include: hiring, training, scheduling and directing work of staff members (appraising performance, rewarding, coaching). Cashiering, developing menu and daily specials, ordering food supplies. Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty
to exceed guest expectations. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and/or ability
required.

Understanding that all products must be ordered and received in a timely manner as to not slow the daily operation

Must be at least 21 years. Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Server's License in the State of NM.

Requires good communication skills both verbal and written.

Knowledge of computer programs, basic kitchen prep, cooking skills, cashiering and experience as a food and beverage supervisor.
